The Löyly (Black Series) at $18,599 includes the sauna build, benches, floorboards, safety railing, the all-aluminum lifetime roof with Titanium PSU30 roofing underlayment, LP Smartside exterior with black aluminum trim, Ontario and Quebec aspen interior shiplap, R20/R24 insulation, 5 major vents, the drainable waterproof aluminum floor, all stainless steel fasteners, and free delivery and on-site assembly within 60 km of our Pickering shop. Your Fenno 6 kW heater, rocks, and controls come with the sauna, uninstalled and ready to be connected. The base price does not include the electrical hookup itself. You have two paths there. You can add one of our pre-installed electrical packages at quote time (see Electrical for the three options and pricing), or your own licensed electrician can handle the connection. Either way works. The hookup just isn’t bundled into the base sauna price.

Yes. Custom builds are most of what we do. But not in this one. The whole point of The Löyly (Black Series) is that the configuration is fixed: same 3 to 4 person size, same Black on Black colour, same Fenno 6 kW heater, same full glass door. That repetition is exactly why we can build it the way we do and price it lower. If you want a different finish, layout or size, start with The Löyly ($19,399), the same 73" × 49" sauna with nothing locked down, or talk to us about a larger build. Then you’re looking at The Löyly instead. The Löyly (Black Series) is fixed: Black LP Smartside, black aluminum trim, full glass door. That’s the whole reason we can price it lower. We’re not redoing engineering, ordering different materials, or re-tooling for each one. We build the same sauna, the same way, every time. The Löyly is that same sauna at $19,399, same 73" × 49" interior and the same R20 build, but you spec the siding, trim, glass tint and the rest of it yourself. The $19,399 against $18,599 is what the spec costs, not the box.

Barrel saunas look impressive but they’re poorly designed as actual saunas. The round shape makes a proper 2-tier bench impossible, which means your feet sit below the rocks. That’s the classic "cold feet syndrome," especially in winter. Most barrels have no insulation, no drainage, and minimal ventilation. They’re built as a shape, not as a sauna. The Löyly (Black Series) is the opposite: a properly insulated, ventilated, drainable Finnish sauna at a comparable budget. If you’re cross-shopping a barrel, you’re comparing two different products: one shaped like a sauna, one that actually performs like one.

The Black Series runs a Fenno 6 kW heater. Standard hookup is a 30-amp non-GFI breaker, single phase, 220 volts, 10-gauge wire. Most people assume a GFI breaker is required. It’s not, and a GFI will trip constantly. The heater is CSA-approved for non-GFI installation. We recommend installing a 40-amp breaker in your main panel and a sub-panel on the sauna that splits power to the heater (30 amp) and lighting (15 amp). The actual hookup must be done by a licensed electrician. We’ll connect you with one familiar with our saunas if you need a referral.

Once you approve it, a 50% deposit reserves your spot in the production queue and the remaining 50% is paid on delivery day. The Löyly (Black Series) uses a 50/50 split rather than our standard 25/25/50 schedule because it’s a fixed, non-customizable build, so we keep the payment simple. The customizable Löyly runs the standard 25/25/50, because it has a spec to settle and build-specific materials to order. Priority delivery is sold out for now, so standard build times apply, and the 6 to 8 week option will return as a limited promo. Ask us for current timing. We accept eTransfer or cheque. Delivery and on-site assembly take roughly two hours.
